How About an LS Powered Mustang Power Wheel?

We’d typically say that Power Wheels should be reserved strictly for kids. But this one wrapped in a Bullitt Mustang shell might pack a bit too much power for the average 5 – 7-years-old age requirement that’s suggested for the toys.

For this particular ride, the usual 12-volt battery has been swapped out for a Corvette LS engine pushing 24 Volts. Well, kind of, as highlighted in the clip below, posted by ethan hubbard. Careful though, there’s a little foul language at the end of it.

Regardless of what you make of the mod, the swap is said to have nearly doubled the speed on the Mustang toy to a roaring 12 mph, which is probably more fitting for an adult at the wheel, or at least a seasoned NASCAR kid in training.

One thing’s for certain, it definitely is a completely different take on the days when I’d hop on my big wheel and try to spin out on the sidewalk, looking to get the attention of all the other kids in the neighborhood.
