5.0 burnouts w/auto

good evening! with the off season I've began thinking of upgrades before race season. I have been looking at getting a set of D.O.T radials and had a couple questions about it. I have messed around before doing burnouts and it seems to be limited to 2k rpms. (with traction control off). while this is fine and i don't plan on doing crazy burnouts 2k rpm Dosent really get the tires spinning. is the only way to get past this limit to get it tuned and have it removed? thanks

You need a tune to override the torque management system. Turning off TCS and Advance Trac won't do it.

He has a 2011 GT. I thought Ford didn't do the 'not being able to do a burnout without a tune' until the 2013's up. I could burn off the rear tires on my 2011 v6, even before I started to run tunes

My V6 manual doesn't have any issue with it, didn't think the auto had that issue.

It is a problem for the 2013-2014 Mustangs with the automatic transmission. Ford put a rev limiter preventing brake stand burnouts for some reason. People had to get a tune to over ride this feature. The OP has a 2011 GT automatic and shouldn't have this problem because I could do brake stand burnouts on my 2011 v6 automatic until the tires are 'gone', if I wanted to .

My 2011 GT would shift into 2nd while spinning the tires and my 14 would destroy the
tires stock. Once you place the 14 in 1st it stays until you shift it, the 11 would shift
to 2nd to stop spinning.
