You can try clearing the code and then doing a throttle position relearn. If that doesn't work, see if the TB is dirty. Otherwise it may be time for a new TB.

What did you do to cause this engine light to come on? I would probably get it checked out before there could be potential damage done to the engine. If you think no damage will be done, you can try resetting the ECU by removing the negative connector on the battery for few mins.

Have you install an intake recently?

I took the TB off the car and cleaned it real good, the back side of the butterfly was a little dirty not too bad. I will see how that goes.

I got a throttle code a while back.Cleaned the TB, replaced the TB, tried it all. Dealer finally found out one of the pigtails on the connector went bad. It was basically shorting out making the comp. think the tb was stuck in the open position.I don't think its the most common problem, but definitely worth checking out. Could save you a lot of time and headache.

I bought a brand new throttle body, disconnected the negative battery post, replaced the TB, used a wire jumper from positive to unconnected negative battery post for 10 minutes, re connected battery, turned key to "on" position till cluster cleared. Started car, let it idle for 15 minutes, then I when across town and at around 30-40 mph my idle jumps slightly not really that bad, when I got home put it in park RPM went up to 2000 then down to 1000 then back up it kept doing that?? Any ideas!?

That's what I would guess too. Mine did similar stuff after I replaced all the plugs and it even died when I pushed the clutch in heading up to a stop sign. All good after 30 mins though.
