New Girl in Town
Hey, y'all! I am completely new to forums but not to Mustangs. I grew up with a drag-racing family, and my dad raced a '69 Fastback which I would kill to get my hands on today.
I've owned a 2005 GT premium with some basic mods (cold air, tuner, custom rims and tires, stripes, louvres, etc). But now I have my dream car, a 2017 Shadow Black GT premium in the Black Accent package. I am kinda proud of it. So far, we have tinted the windows and headlights (probably illegal and that will suck, but even the police don't know if it's legal). We have a Cervini ram air hood and scoops, we've got a cat back exhaust and some pretty cool rims from AM. We're running Mickey Thompson 305s on the rear, so if you have any comments on that in one direction or the other, I'd like to hear it. We also put on caliper covers, but I'm not sure if that really counts enough to mention. We have the Recaro leather racing seats with red stitching, so all of our mods are either to murder it out or to add a little red here and there.
Next up is a Roush Phase 1 supercharger, and donations are gladly accepted. hahaha
Anyways, I feel like I'm rambling, so I just wanted to say HEY!

Automatic because I'm a pansy and have broken my feet four times. Sadly, just mashing the gas hurts them. The paddle shifters make me feel less impotent. haha

I don't think I could walk if I broke my feet four times. I'd just be like **** it give me some wheels or something.

Apparently I have some kind of mental illness, because I still do bar squats and walk about anywhere from 3 to 5 miles a day. I am pretty darn young to be eat up with arthritis in my feet, but that is what happens when you have injuries. The walking helps, believe it or not. I like to think it keeps me from rusting over. haha

Welcome to the site, congrats & good luck with the new ride & mods.
Had you considered a Whipple blower package, the 2.9 is what SAI uses on their SS conversions.
