High RPM Lockout

Has anyone only changed the clutch and fixed this problem? Seems like everyone did the mounts then shifter then clutch.

New clutch resolves this problem.
My stock clutch was getting very hard to shift into 5th at the track during high rpm. During a track session One of the dampening springs tore through the metal and destroyed my clutch.
Installed a McLeod Twin Disc clutch and problem was solved.

So basically you just replaced the clutch and didn't mess with the shifter and mounts and it works great? Seems like a cheaper option the. All the other stuff

I would just do the clutch and MGW Race and be done with it.

Even with the stock clutch I had the Barton short throw shifter with the bracket. Hi rpm shifting is better with that shifter but not perfect. So far the clutch seems to have resolved that issue. I have had zero lockout or miss shift during high rpm's

Did you get the 800 or 1000 HP one? Did you do the stainless steel lines too?

I installed the RST (800). And yes, I did the braided stainless steel clutch line from McLeod. Clutch pedal feel is the same as stock
