274 40 19;s on brembo wheels
anyone running them on a stock brembo wheel? rubbing issues, etc. always use the stock tire size 255 40 19 but its time for new tires and was thinking about going to a 275 40,stock springs in front,55d in rear but am thinking of going with a 1.5 inch drop all around soon (bmr sp009 springs)

Don't know after the drop but you wont have any problems now. I have the same size and offset with my 302s wheels with 275/40 19's all around.
I am doing a .8/1.2 drop on mine this weekend but I am not expecting issues with that.

Just keep in mind if you go to a 275/40/19 you are going to increase the overall height of the tire by .7" and also increase the sidewall size. Not sure if you were going for that look or if you just wanted a wider tire.

You won't have any rubbing issues with 275's unless you're slammed on coilovers. I have eibach Sportline springs on my car (drops the car almost 2") and 275/40's on my stock brembo wheels and I still have about a finger and a half of wheel gap on every corner. I'd say go for it, I got pilot supersports and the gain in traction when launching is much improved

I have 275/40/19 on sve 19x9.5 rims and steeda springs, I do have a little rubbing over large pot holes or train tracks!
But no rubbing with track pack rims and 275/40/19 tires!

I agree with 5.Monster, no drawbacks other than speedo. I made the switch from 255 40 19 to 275 40 19 on my stock brembo wheels recently. I like the way they fill the wheel well out a little more and the traction has been very good. I was quite impressed with the Bridgestone S04's at the Camp Steeda Sebring event last weekend.

The 275/40 19 is the same size as the 245/45 19 offered as a tire when you bought the California Special.
You speedo is more than likely set for the 27.3 tire height for the OEM 235/50 18 and it is still off from the factory more than likely.
