2008 GT CS

I just ordered some new decals foe my 08. Trying to figure out which side to put the decals,
I am leaning to the left for some reason.....see pics below.
Let me know what you think.???

Not a real fan personally but since you are asking for opinions, I tend to like the left rear and voted for that. Our cars are twins. Thanks for the comments in the other post.

Pictures are not the real decal. Just some copies from online and pasted to the rear deck. More pics to follow once decals arrive.... Thank you for your honest opinion......

With all due respect, I don't see the point of declaring it's a 197. People who care already know what it is and trust me, no one else cares at all.

This is my 4th Mustang...... The others where crap cars. Nothing like the ride and drive of the S197. I like it and I am proud of it. i've owed it appx 3 months and still am in awe wherever I drive it. I have driven it over 5,000 miles and still am impressed. Never knew Ford had it in them...

Just food for thought...
Thanks for your response

And for those who don't care, wouldn't have a clue what it means to begin with anyhow..

Greyeagle,

I see your point. What the heck?, these cars are about having fun and there are no rules saying there's only one way to have fun. Let the folks in their faceless crossovers and soul-less hybrids scratch their heads.

WE'VE GOT MUSTANGS AND THEY DON'T.

Now I like that viewpoint. Have fun and let others wonder.
I've even heard comments that the CS stands for Carroll Shelby. Hey, at least they got the Ford connection right.
That's still nothing compared to what I hear about my Matador.

First, let's be clear on this: You should do whatever it is you want to do regarding this sticker. It's your car, your pride, your desire, your sticker. Put it where YOU want it, and worry not about anyone else's opinion.

That said... My opinion is that I wouldn't put it on the decklid like it was some dealer sticker. Just seems... out of place. Yeah, I'll go with that.

If you want to put the sticker anywhere, then the center bottom of the top's glass, or the upper right or lower right corner of the windshield would be where I'd put them. Or I'd make two, and stick them on the rear windows.

I might also make them smaller than they appear to me, so they don't be all ***LOOK AT THIS*** because subtle is always more fun. YOU know it's there.. and then when someone finds it and goes "Oh, check it!" More grins per miles that way.

I might further, since I'd be puttin' them on the glass, make them transparent except for white print, not white on black background, and then reverse sticker it so it goes on the inside... and if there's tint, well, have the tint redone so the sticker is between the glass and the tint... which might need the sticker to be the same 'tint' as the actual tint.

OR... maybe you figure out a way to make a placard mount that'll work with your honeycomb panel, and stick it on the lower right of the panel. That'd be pretty cool, actually... Yeah, I might do that.

Just some ideas I had on it.

But again, I enjoin ya to do what you want. Have fun your way, not ours.

After all the fusing and complains I rec'd on the decals I finally rec'd them and got them stuck on/in the car... I rec'd 2 each, one smaller one that I decided to put on the left rear deck lid and the larger one I cut into and placed it in the engine compartment. Thanks to everyone for your unbiased opinions. For those interested and those who are not.....
Pics are attached
Hope everyone has a great day!!!

I'm glad you chose the left side. I kinda like it as it reminds me of the Saleen Mustangs that feature unique numbers on the left front bumper.

Those unique Saleen Mustang numbers you brought up are actually the production build numbers..
