So here is why I started this...I just won an amazing sweepstakes (http://dreamgiveaway.com/dg/mustang_ended) and won 2 amazing Mustangs...but not sure I can keep both and complicating of selling one...even though it's killing me, I'm am contemplating selling the ‘65
Mustang GT "K code"! Not sure I can afford to keep both. You guys know this is a rare car and the basis for all the Shelby's.

I know, I still can't believe it! I have tried to figure it out, but it's a win/win to keep the killer '15 as a daily driver and then use the funds to take care of my family! ...trust me, it is a totally painful thought!

I've heard a lot of negative stuff about that company - didn't realize people actually win. How was the process? I assume you had to pay tax on the value of both?

So far they have been great. I will see on the 8th when I go down to take possession. They now also give you money for taxes...but the tax laws are confusing and I will see how all that shakes out...one of the reasons I am probably going to sell the '65. Not only in case I need extra tax money, but after I ship it, find storage, insurance, upkeep, etc...it becomes an additional "expense" for me...and trying to to be greedy, I still end up with the '15!

Thanks, ya still doesn't seem real.

I have done a ton of research and had some appraisers/consignment shops give me guidance.

A true K code is rare and even rarer because every one turned them into Shelby's. They are running anywhere from $55K to $125+K. If I consign or take to auction, they feel it would be a six figure car! But if I can do a deal quickly I am entertaining serious offers over $60K.
