Saleen Black Label

I do like the Black Label Saleen 302 from an appearance point of view, however I would not take the risk of paying 70k for it, as I've stated my reasons in this thread time and time again..
Like yourself, I'd much rather have a 2016 Roush Stage 3 as my first choice, followed by the Shelby GT350 as my second choice.. With the Roush stage 3, at least you know without a doubt that your purchasing from a very reputable and stable company that isn't facing the possibility of extinction..
Plus you'll also have piece of mind knowing that Ford hasn't dropped it's partnership with Roush and can still take your car to any authorized Ford/Roush dealership to be serviced under full warranty

Plus, the Roush cars are pretty bad ***. I'm itching to see what a phase 3 kit will bring us.
Granted there are Whipple supercharged S550 Mustangs out there putting down stupid, crazy power. I'm talking well over 700 HP at the rear wheels. Pretty disgusting.

I'd hate to see you replace your Roush with another. Yours is really unique. Do you have any idea how many S197 Stage 3's were built in GHIG?

Even still Tony, all these posts about the Saleen have to be killing you. I know how much of a hard-on you had for one of these and all the crap you went through trying to communicate with them.

Yeah,...it bothers me and it doesn't. I love the car, but now I have more a of hard on for the S550 Roush Stage 3 cars and I like the Steeda Street fighter as well. So, everything happens for a reason. (The Shelby GT350R is a killer car too, but I don't like that you have to jump through loops of fire to get one. OH,...and pay a huge ADM. I don't want to do that. At all.)
There's a person on the other Mustang forum that ordered a Saleen Black Label 302. He went to Saleen and did all his ordering. He had the advantage of living out in California, not too far from Saleen headquarters. He hasn't heard from them in a long time and finally went to Saleen in person to see what's going on. Saleen said they just recently got his donor car and will be building it soon. I don't know how long he has waited, but it's been a while. Who knows when he will get his car.
I do have the breakdown on 2013 GHIG Roush Stage 3 cars.
There are 10 manual cars that have the same color options as I. (Black and silver stripes.)
There are 2 manual convertible cars that have the same color options as I. (Black and silver stripes.)
There is 1 automatic car that have the same color options as I. (Black and silver stripes.)

There were a total of 54 2013 GHIG Roush Stage 3 cars made.
Only 14 were the same color stripe package as mine.

Tony ! I can certainly understand not wanting to pay a huge ADM for the GT350, however your still going to end up paying a premium over the base model regardless of whether you choose the Roush stage 3 package or Shelby GT350..
I suppose it's just a matter of how much your actually willing to pay over the base price, but IMHO the Roush stage 3 will offer the better bang for the buck performance over the Shelby GT350 dollar for dollar

If I do get another Mustang, I'm almost certain it will be a S550 phase 3 Roush Stage 3 car. When?? I don't know as I have a '16 truck on order and should be here hopefully early next month.

No, I would never buy a base GT350. It's all or nothing. I would get the R car with the technology package.

Therefore if and when you decide to get another Mustang ? Just as I mentioned earlier, the S550 Roush stage 3 would provide the best bang for the buck performance dollar for dollar IMHO..
In the meantime, keep enjoying your current S-197 Roush stage 3 Tony

When paying that kind of money for a Mustang ! I'd also want and expect the phase 3 kit already installed when that Roush stage 3 gets delivered to me as well Tony
