Seriously. If I got an R, the only thing I would do is window tint. Maybe tint the side markers too. And then MAYBE long tubes. Nothing else.

Although, long tube headers would be a nice fit on a car like this. The stock headers on this car are pretty impressive.
Isn't it though Mark? I love it.
I'll keep updating as I can.

Some more GT350R goodness!
(That is not me in the photo. I grabbed this off another Mustang forum that I frequent.)

Not a R car, but still very, very nice.

I know, right?!?!
I'm going to try to get a R car next year. They are only making 500 R's next year and the ADM's on these cars are crazy. Even the non R cars are getting stupid ADM. If I can get a R car, spec it the way I want, without a stupid crazy ADM, I'm buying one. I love the exterior and the interior of those cars.

I just can't get into that avalanche grey, looks like primer in pictures. Probably one of those colors I have to see in person to appreciate.
Those in DIB though... those are the stuff wet dreams are made of.

Too funny Josh. Yeah,...the AG is probably a color to be appreciated in person. I'm not crazy about it, but it looks okay. I wouldn't buy it though.
I love the Race Red R car. No stripes, black roof. That's how I'm spec'ing mine if I get one next year. And going with the electronics package.

Kinda sucks. I could get the GT350 car where more of them will be available, cost less and they don't have the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. But,....it's not the R car.

Tony, I wouldn't make a decision based on the tires the car comes with.
You could always put different tires on the car and sell those Michelin's as "take-off" tires, I'm sure there will be lots of guys out there willing to buy them for their non-GT350 Mustangs

I just don't think this car will be easily had, which brings up another issue. They're only making 500 per year of the R car. I'm not looking to buy till next year. Ford isn't shipping or building any R cars from November to February anyways, if I recall correctly, so that would work out. Unless, people get their orders in before me. The other factor, which comes up all the time is the ADM. I've read posts about CRAZY ADM just for the non R car. I like the car, but not willing to pay ADM.
So, we'll see how it goes.

After thinking about it all day today at work, (literally all day today), I'm gonna pass on the GT350R. It's going to be a great car and all, but I'd have to replace those tires when I trade the car in or sell it. Doesn't make economic sense to do this. Buy the car, sell the original tires, buy new tires, replace the original tires when selling or trading in.
I'm glad I found out about the tires on the other forum, now rather than later. That's why it's good to do research before buying.
