Fell for the New GT

Just picked up a 2015 GT in Magnetic. Never thought I would even consider a grey car, but the black wheels just made the color pop. So far, it is amazing. It has replaced my 2014 Shelby, and I have to say that this new GT is heads above my Shelby in everything but thrust. But it is plenty fast! The handling just is amazing. No body roll, and it just sticks like glue. It actually drives like a much lighter car.

Time sure flies. Feels like yesterday when I first got my GT, now we have 15's ha! Congrats and nice color choice. Still, trading a Shelby to a GT is a little mystery to me even if its newer model year. I don't get it heh.

Interior Photos

Here are some interior photos. My Llyod Shelby mats were a perfect fit!

It was easier that you would think. I paid $55k for the Shelby, drove it over a year and got $53,500. Then got the new GT for $2,000 under sticker. With the Shelby paid off, my new car payment is almost $400.00 a month less.

Nice car. Love the color. Are those mats the ones that came with the car?

Or was that your first Mod.

1st Mod! I kept the Llyod Mats I bought for my Shelby and put the originals back in when I sold it. My next mod will be redline hood stuts, as soon as they become available.

Looking at it again the rear end always seems to look off in pics, but yet it was my favorite part of the car seeing it in person.

Looks great, the black wheels are even starting to grow on me. Although I wish they were a different color.

Hows it feel driving wise going from the shelby to the 15'? Do you miss the power yet?

Actually, no. It doesn't have the immediate thrust the Shelby did, but the 5.0 really pulls strong, and being non supercharged makes it seem more easy to control. The Shelby could never hook up, so if the Shelby Owner doesn't use launch control, the 5.0 would beat it. The handling is in another world compared to the Shelby, the car feels light on its feet and stays neutral.
