2015 5.0 "Tick-Tick"

I am wondering if anyone here with a 2015 GT 5.0 is having the special engine "Tick" that some of the 11-14 5.0 motors seem to develop?

I pray Ford has taken care of the Tick Tick. If i hear of 'one 5.0' with the Tick Tick, i'll 'never' consider buying one

Subscribed as well. Just did my 3rd oil change on mine and all is good so far. If I experience anything, I will post up about it.

Just a bump . 'Might' be ready to get one in 2020 if everything goes good. So far i haven't read anything about the 'engine ticks'. So far so good

I haven't had the oil changed in my 2015 GT yet. I only have 4,000 miles on it. Thanks for the heads up; I will definitely listen for it now!

My 2017 GT just started ticking at 400 miles. I am going to take it back to the dealer to get it on record. I am sure they will say it is "normal".

The D.I. (Direct Injection) engines use very high pressure to inject the gas into the cylinder heads. What you may be hearing is the injectors causing the ticking sound.

My C7 Corvette w/the direct injection has the same sound.

If not, I hope it's nothing serious for you folks.
