335 tires

I'm working on getting these 335's on my car. I will be modifying/ securing the inner fender liner, relocating the bump stops, and removing the bump stop bracket. I will post updates as they are available.

So, what is the actual size of those things? 335/35R19 or what?

Should look good! They should fit easily height wise. They are about 1 1/2 inches lower than the 275/35R20 I am running, but the extra 2 1/2 inches width will be very nice!

Yes it will! They fit fine as is, they do stick out a 1/4"-1/2". They are barely touching the fender liner, but the fender liner is sticking out an inch or more from the actual wheel well, so I'll secure that to the wheel well using self tapping sheet metal screws and washers. I haven't played with it too much, but when the suspension droops, such as going over a hill at speed, I believe the bump stop bracket will come into contact with the tire, so I'll be doing away with those. If I hit a big bump, my suspension may or may not compress enough for the tire to come into contact with the top of my fender, I'll adjust ride height as needed to prevent this.

So after ordering the relocation brackets, and going to install them, it appears as though I may already be clear of the bracket. The clearance is minimal, but there is clearance. So for now, all I have done is secured the wheel well liner with a single self tapping screw and washer on either side, as that was protruding out and touching the tire when the suspension was at ride height.

These pictures just show my clearance, with the suspension totally unloaded, which will rarely, if ever, happen while driving. Once we have some decent weather, i will take the car out and check for any rubbing issues, then update this post at that time.

why not just run a small spacer in the rear. It will poke out more...but that's not so bad. Just run a slightly heavier spring in back if your not already too combat tire/fend contact.

That is an option, but I'd like them to stay where they are in relation to the fender. I do have clearance as it sits. If I run into any issues during testing, I'll start by removing the bump stop brackets, and relocating the bump stops, as I already have the brackets and spot weld cutter.

If there is fender contact, I'll first try raising my rear suspension (free) then maybe contact Eibach for a higher spring rate. Based on what I see, I don't think I'll have that issue.

Doesn't look like enough room for rocks or snow or anything else that could travel though there.
Don't go through mud.

I can't wait to see the finished result!
Im interested mostly because I'm pretty set on getting an air ride set up next summer, and I'm trying to determine what's the "smarter" set up.
1) somewhat wide (285 up to 305) 20 inch tires in the rear?
2) 315 up to 335 18" tires in the rear?

There's room for rocks, the car will never see snow! Keep in mind those pictures are not at ride height, that's with the tires off the ground. I'm unable to upload pics from my app for some reason, here is a link to a drop box folder. There are a few pics at ride height... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wuoc04kwc...cwNiaaXta?dl=0

Me too! I also have a set of 20" wheels and tires, just waiting on tpms sensors, then the time to have the tires mounted. I will be running 315s on the rear.

The 335s haven't rubbed anything that I can tell, with some pretty spirited driving. Getting a very slight hum at speed from them, almost like a truck tire humming.

I would love to put that kind of meat on the back of my car.
