Supra's Stang

She's a 2013 Mustang GT Premium, Deep impact blue, 6MT, Track package, and Recaro seats. Couldn't find one anywhere in Canada with these options so I had to factory order this one.

At the dealership when she finally arrived 14 weeks later.

Finally home!

Unlike the U.S models, our Canadian GT's come with the standard "V6" grille rather than the typical GT grille with LED fog lights due to our lighting laws here. I wasn't even aware of this until after I had ordered the car. But the dealership agreed to throw in a GT/CS grille at no cost to me. It came silver in color so I sanded it down and used spray-on bedliner to give it a nice black/roughish look to it. Really happy how it turned out

First mod, KOOKS Axle-back mufflers!

Other Parts I have but won't be installed till spring:

-Barton 2 post shift bracket
-JBA O/R X pipe
-BMR lower control arms
-Pre-painted GT500 style spoiler
-JLT oil catch can
-STEEDA Sport springs
-J&M Aluminum Adjustable panhard bar
-Eibach camber bolts
-STEEDA Cold air intake
-Bama SCT Tuner
-Genuine Ford Boss 302 Shift ball
-Genuine Ford GT500 leather shift boot
-LED Plate bulbs

By the time the car finally got built/delivered I only got to drive it for a week and was forced to park it for the winter. Can't wait for the snow to melt and start modding it and enjoying it!

I also thought that it was because of lighting laws we got the V6 grille . I mentioned this to my service manager and he said the Ford rep told him it had to do with insurance costs. Apparently it would cost too much to repair the GT grille compared to the other offerings. I like having the fog lights in the bumper but I wish they were of better quality since we did pay the money for a GT it would be nice if they were of that same strength.

Very nice car by the way !!!!!!

Very nice car and parts list. I love mine and can't see having any other color especially when the sun hits it just right in the evenings. It's magical. Congrats.

I'm going with the GT4 reps from American Muscle in 18x9 all the way around and 275/40/18's so I can get some more grip and lighten up the unsprung weight a little. Those wheels are 21lbs per wheel as opposed to the 30lbs per wheel for the Brembo wheels.

Don't worry, the V6 grill is much nicer than the Gt grill. I don't like those round fog lights.

Ordered a couple more things. Can't wait for the snow to melt so I can get the car out of storage and start installing everything. Its probably going to take a full day just to get everything installed

-MMD Hood Struts
-Barton Short Throw Shifter
