My 2013 DIB "Mutant" GT

All,

Some great looking cars on this forum so I thought I'd add mine too. Just completed a bunch of mods (more info shown in the Modification forum) that included shifter, brakes, Cobra Jet intake, suspension, front spoiler, grill, some carbon fiber parts, stereo and an Opti-Coat Plus treatment. The mods didn't do much to the original look of the car other than in the front, but the performance, ride and stopping capabilities all were dramatic improvements from stock.

The car when purchased had the BOSS stripes, 20" chrome wheels, Borla catback and Recardo seats.

UPDATE: Just added some new Mickey Thompson's - 305 35 20 in the rear and 275 35 20 in the front (last 5 pics). Not too much gap in the wheel wells now? Baddest tires I've seen and the performance is a VERY big improvement too!

Anyway, love to hear thoughts from fellow members!

Happy motoring,

Mike

The carbon fiber & wheels look good on DIB.
The Boss 302 stripes & the grille Cobra Jet snake look out of place........to me.
The chrome grille insert clashes with the carbon fiber.
The mods only have to look good to you, no one else counts.

I love DIB! and the silver stripes look nice on this color (something I am still thinking about).

What kind of tires are you running? I wasn't able to see on the pictures.

Hi Plim,

Yes, I think the silver stripes and chrome look great on the DIB and also like the way the new carbon fiber pieces look with it too! 1 Alibi 2 said he thought the two clashed, but I don't agree, especially since the carbon fiber is in the back. Also have some coming for the engine bay and center console.

The current tires are called Accelera PH2 that I never heard of before getting this car. It seems they are an inexpensive foreign brand that look OK, but are not going to be on very long. Just getting ready to order some Kumho's and going to go 295/35/20 in the rear and 265/35/20 in front. Current tires are 275/35 in rear and 255/35 in front.

Mike
