Clear Bra for Lava?
Anyone have one? How does it look? I just took the regular bra off today and about had a stroke. It looks terrible. 6800 miles and I'm going to have to use polishing compound.

I'm going to try a clear bra on it, since, after taking the other bra off and getting it cleaned up, I learned a couple things.
1 - someone ran into it in a parking lot and gave it a good gash.
2- a shovel tipped over and it now has a dent to go with the gash.
3 - there's a big dead spot in the paint on the hood, so I'm sure they'll have to repaint it under warranty.
Not a good day. :/

I will never have a new car again that does not have a clear bra. I had one on a '05 Legend Lime for 8 years and 200K miles...I have one on a 2012 Red Candy that has 50K miles. Really does a great job keeping the road rash etc down.
I do a ton of highway miles and it's the best investment and first Mod I do. Also, I have the painted mirror caps done, a "bikini" cut on the hood and fenders, the front bumper, and the door edges. Next time I will also do the leading edge of the roof.
I always hand wash the car. You have to be careful about using car wash pressure wands etc on it too close, at least early on.
Good luck...
