Hmm. I would have expected more from your tune.
I have a 2014 GT and did a bone stock baseline on a Mustang dyno and scored 370. 91 octane if that's relevant.
The Boss is rated 24 hp higher (444 bhp vs 420). Call it 20 with driveline loss, so with no tune, 91 octane and Mustang dyno, on a cool day (it was about 70 when I tested), I'd expect 370 + 20 = 390.
So the tune's only worth 5?
I acknowledge there's a lot of assumptions here. Just suspicious is all. Not to mention that the quarter mile times for the Boss seem to indicate that it's underrated.

Those numbers fall on the high side of a stock Boss. I've seen a pretty wide range, though. Down around 380/330 to a high of 416/355 (I'm skeptical that was truly stock). On the TracKey I did pretty much what you have, just +2 hp and +1 tq.
Like berzerk, I'd expect more from an AED tune. At least a little more than the TracKey. But, the numbers do vary a lot, so without a stock baseline pull it's hard to say what your tune is doing. You are higher than some TracKey numbers I've seen, so it's all good.

I hope you aren't disappointed; there's nothing wrong with your numbers. There are just so many factors when you dyno, I mean we did two pulls on mine and the second run added 6hp just from cooling down.
Bottom line, you still own what I think is the coolest Mustang in decades (jelly).

Hey Tek,
Nice BOSS my man. Listen mang, don't put all those stocks in a dyno number - run it an hour or a day later and get a different number - wheel of fortune man.
Your BOSS is well.....a BOSS period ! Nothing handles like it, accelerates like it or stands out from the crowd like it. Try not to chase numbers man. When a buddy asks me how much hp - i take them for a ride instead. All questions answered

And the seat dyno is a much better indicator anyway. My other fun car is an S2000 and it's still a blast with "only" 240 hp.

What kind of dyno? My friend with a Laguna Seca did about 390 whp stock if I remember correctly. I would guess you would gain a little more with a tune but dyno to dyno results vary so it's tough to accurately compare
Almost 400 whp is pretty fantastic.

Hopefully this wil shed some light. I had my car tuned at AED by Shaun on his Dynocom dyno. On 91 octane stock vs. tuned: 404 and 412. Torque tuned was 370. I don't recall stock. Later I added a Steeda CAI and Shaun sent me a revised tune to account for the MAF. A while later I attended a local dyno day. This time, on a Mustang dyno, with Steeda CAI and AED tune it did 407. I then removed the Steeda CAI and reinstalled the stock airbox and factory tune, essentially returning to baseline. The result: 387. One can draw several conclusions. Was my car actually making more power at baseline on Shaun's dyno? Unlikely. Is Shaun's dyno happier? Maybe. More importantly, though, are the before and after results on the same dyno, ie. the gains. With tune alone I gained 8 hp. With tune plus Steeda CAI I gained 20 hp. I would bet that had I tested the same Steeda CAI/AED tune combo on Shaun's dyno the result would also be a 20 hp gain, but instead of a peak of 407 it would have read 424.
