Or (RE: Mach) 2019, or 2020 . .

And this rumor (below) would be a disappointment (and shock) if the Mach was the flagship . . .

There’s also speculation around Ford offering a Mach 1 model around late 2019, early 2020.

Rumors suggest the Mach 1 could serve as the new flagship Mustang, potentially slotting above the GT350, though specific details surrounding the upcoming variant remain unclear.

It'll be interesting to see how Ford treats the iconic Mach 1 shaker. I can't envision how the shaker as we know it now will flow with the design of the S550. Perhaps some type of redesign is warranted while still evoking that look. I don't see retro working very well.

Hmmm...never thought of that. I can see NACA ducts being nicely integrated with the design. I bet the hood like that would be a popular conversion for non-Mach 1's also.

Mach 1 and 10spd Auto in 2018
I'm going to go out on a limb and assume the 10spd will not use all the gears all the time. This is clearly an issue with the 9spds on the market, all getting universal hate. I would think the computer will choose between one gearset and the other, depending on needs and conditions.

Add me to the haters. My wife's 2014 Cherokee has a 9spd with the select shift. I like that you physically move the auto shifter up or down to shift (our Mustangs should have had this rather than a stupid button) but I hated the continual shifting. We just keep it on auto all the time.
Maybe you're right and it will skip gears to keep it entertaining and not a pain.

Thank God! The fugly Fusion front has to go. I was hoping it would happen sooner actually, for MY17. Dear Ford, this time, please please PLEASE make it look like a Mustang for **** sake!

Wish they'd keep the front end longer to **** people off more as sales continue to grow!

Hopefully it wont be as bad of a refresh as the focus, or the already spotted fusion.
The refreshed mustang need these headlights:
I still think the way Car and Driver render looked in the front was just a bit better then what the official car looks, maybe it was just the headlights tho.
