Aww, he never came back to say if he bought one. I'm 49 and sometimes I feel I'm too old to be driving a Mustang. A loud one at that. Then I put a wig on and feel about 20 years younger.

52 and still play video games. Buying a fast car is not even a question. As a matter of fact I don't even understand how the question even pops into someones's head.

I think some people think that sports/muscle cars a for the younger generation. That people our age should drive something more grown up and practical. I was talking about my Mustang on another forum. A woman called it my midlife crisis ***** car.

I probably would have told her she's just bitter old hag and that no one in their midlife crisis ***** cars ever give her a second look. Actually I might have used more colorful languages.

I bought a 2016 GT 5.0 July of this year and had Hennessey Performance install their HPE 700 package. I previously owned two Pontiac Trans Ams and a Dodge Challenger among other cars. I turn age 62 in less than a month. My Mustang on the DynoJet was 718hp at the flywheel and close to 600hp at the rear wheels. My age has not stopped my need for speed. If you are of an advanced age I say go for it. I am having a great time with my Mustang!

Not in the least.
A local guy bought a bright yellow convert. for his 100th birthday.
I got my 2016 just before my 60th birthday. I've had it to Myrtle Beach, The East Coast, the drag strip and I autocrossed about 8 times. I'll worry about being too old when I'm dead.
