2018 Bullitt Leaked

The evidence is pretty strong here! Plus the 2018 hood works pretty well unchanged.

Anyone around in 2008, how hard was it to get the Bullitt? Looks like they made about 5,000 of them so it doesn't seem like it'd be hard to get one.

I agree - they'll want to make as many Bullitts as there are buyers!
Ford wants this anniversary to be a big splash - & so it makes perfect sense to bring back the most iconic Mustang ever - & for people see it everywhere.

Ok - so they were not rare in 2008 - good news.
This means a "Bullitt" will also likely be easy to get in 2018!
And no doubters please - cause this car is a given.
Everyone must agree - Ford designers have had the 50th anniversary of the "Beast of San Francisco" marked on their calendars for years!

Pretty sure this wasn't a "leak", as such. There's no way Ford would let cameras into a studio like that without absolute knowledge of could possible be filmed and, subsequently, put in the public domain.

I think this is just a new way of "teasing" a future product. It's an unusual approach, but I guess it gives Ford good feedback without actually having to do much officially!

Anyway, as for the Bullitt? BRING IT ON!!!

My question is just....when? Looks like the '18MY will be on dealer lots in the Fall, so we've quite a time to wait......so I wonder how, and when, we'll see the car officially revealed. Perhaps a similar even in San Francisco, just as the S197 version was released there

The movie released October 17, 1968.

Maybe look for an announcement in October? It would be the 49th anniversary of the movie this year, but a pseudo 50th Anniversary Bullitt Mustang as a 2018 Model year vehicle.
