2016 Track Mode "more powerful tone" ?
From the owner's manual (2016 Mustang GT Premium). Specifically, with GT Performance Package . . .
"Track – Provides a performance driving
experience. The engine responds
directly to your inputs and takes on a
more powerful tone. Track mode is for
use when pure performance is desired."
I haven't yet been able to hear it from outside the car, but sitting inside, in the garage with windows open, it sounds very slightly deeper in tone. But it's hardly noticable, I'd never notice if I wasn't listening for a change and toggling the switch.
Like many other things, there's hardly any info about it. So are they just adding down to the sound system, or actually doing some real like opening a valve in the exhaust (I doubt it)?
