Im right there with ya on FB lol

Watched all of the unveiling vids, looked at all the pictures, seen the exhaust vid of the GT at a cars and coffee meet (i think) and been all over the ford website looking at every detail as theyre released! I love my car, been wantin to go back to an SN95, but now... Now i want THIS! Of course i wanna see what the aftermarket will offer but id honestly be fine with this car as is. Rim options are good, hope they add maybe a glass roof, and of course an exhaust system will be MANDATORY

But i mean IRS, launch & burnout control, hell i love just about everything except the headlights

I agree 1000%. The endless possibilities, like everything we have been asking for and someone at Ford was listening!

I am hoping that Barrett/Jackson has one in the Ford display here in January, but thats still a month away!

^Overall, it just looks newer to me.
  • sleeker, faster looking
  • smoother but curvey
  • tighter gaps, well engineered

That really shows how dated the current model looks. Some of the things over the years that Ford has FINALLY fixed over the last few models include color matching side mirrors and door handles, eliminating the stupid radio antenna (2015 -took long enough....but I'll take it), and as in this photo we can see several things (lowered, widened, smoother, tighter gaps, etc). The fit and finish of this car is finally seemless and there are no tacked on looking parts. It was amazing to me how long it took Ford to take some of these no brainer steps. For years I was watching in horror as they continued to release Mustangs with matte black side mirrors and door handles when only economy cars were looking like that. Same thing with the new rear diffuser being at least partially body colored. I think it looks wicked, yet I see others still clamoring for matte black. To each his own, to be sure, but look around on the road, nicer cars have these pieces matching the body color.

Question

But, will the new Mustang have the puddle lights on the side mirrors ?

Would it be bad to replace the running pony emblem in the grill or on the decklid with the horse face emblem?? Like it youre looking at a horse face to face? If anyones good with ohotoshop could you please do a quick chop? Im just really interedted to see how it would look. If its taxky or not

Can someone photoshop a set of '13 gt500 svt pack wheels on this pic, please? As well as delete the pony emblem and straighten out those two fang-like extensions in the front grille so it looks like a gt500 grille delete.

Hmm, i like that! Very race-car -ish. While the base models shown on Dec 5 look blah to me, as usual, with lotsa dressing they can appeal to even more of us!
