Unhappy 2014 mustang, Traction control light comes on and ABS system starts braking for you.

I have a 2014 Ford Mustang, I have taken it to the shop three times so far and they can not duplicate the issue. The issue is the traction control light comes on and then the ABS system kicks in and starts braking for me. I'm going straight and its a beatiful sunny day. There is no reason for the traction control to kick on. Each time its random and going at different speeds. Each time is different too, one time its right when I started the vehicle, 2nd time I was driving the car a 30 min and it happen, 3rd time I was driving in a straight away at 60 miles hour and it starting braking hard on the driver side. The sound is awful and its sound like a caliber is stuck and trying to release. The shop has taken my tires and brakes off and say they look brand new. The car was brand new when I purchased it, I have 8,000 miles on the vehicle. I have a ford case number but the issue is they can not reproduce it and the vehicle computer is not retaining the light coming on its wiping them out.

Has anyone else have this issue or heard anything about this or suggestion?

There is no TSB or anything on this malfunction. You will have to have the dealership put in a data recorder so you can record when this happens.

I've had this happen a few times. I just try and live with it since it is so rare.

Thank you Dave07, I got the car back from the shop with no luck. Ford will be contacting me on Monday to see what the out come was and to go over more options.

Do you have a case number with ford? If so I wonder if the two can be linked.

I do not have a case number. Like I said it is just so rare and hard to replicate for my vehicle, I'm going to hold off on getting it fixed unless it starts doing it more frequently.

Here is good thread on another forum: http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...-recorder.html
