Exclamation 2011 v6 ETB - What Next?

My ETB failed on the way to work this morning. In heavy traffic in the Washington DC area, you can believe it was a near death experience. I was able to "limp" the last mile to work after it occurred a 2nd time after I shut it off and started back up again.

Upon checking the NHTSA and other forums, this is a known issue and there is a CSAT extended warrantee on other Ford vehicles with the same exact part (ex: Ford Escape from similar model year). How did Ford think it was a good idea not to include the Mustang in the program when it has the exact same part?! When you look at NHTSA complaints, they are all about this. It seems like a no-brainer, but apparently Ford needs someone to die first...

Does anyone have advice on this issue? How much should I expect to pay?
