This is by far my favorite mod so far. Its like night and day. My only regret is that I should have done it sooner!

If your interested in picking up a GT 500 wheel then let me direct you to try:

155.00 is a steal!

Thanks. It really compliments the new leather take off seat covers.

What took you so long That was the very first mod I did (within the first week) when I got mine in April 2011 That cheap plastic insult should never have been allowed in our cars! I love the GT500 wheel, just the right amount of leather and alcantra

Do the buttons work? Also SterlingStangman, what do you have on the back of your headrests?

It depends on your car. If your car came with premium sound, then yes.

I have the bare bones base model so only the left side works. No worries though, Your Ford dealership can reflash your ACM to get the radio buttons to work.,

In my case, The cruise control works and all the buttons light up. I don't think I'm going to drop the coin to get the other side to work. I never use the buttons anyway.

Thanks man. If you know anyone that needs the old rubber steering wheel, let me know.

Have a feeling that's no one.

Lol it's an easy instal. I have no excuse. I'm glad the airbag didn't deploy on me considering my luck lately.

Might be a good project wheel?

No wear or worn buttons.

One last question. This will make or break the sale. The little plastic pieces surrounding the buttons & the bottom center. Do they pull off? Cause I'd want to put my silver ones on there. If not then no bueno :\
