By looking at the old harness, it seems the only other place the wires are in a junction in this harness is is at the pass side kick panel in a big white/ grey connector.

Has anybody that used aftermarket amps noticed a lot of noise in the system while the engine is running? It seems I'm plagued with an alternator whine and just a really noisy system. I grounded the head unit to the battery but nothing changed, the only thing I haven't tried is grounding the amp to the battery. Right now it's grounded in the trunk. Any ideas will help, thanks

Start a new thread on this question. You'll get more responses that way from the audiophiles.

Wild idea here... Do you guys think this system could be fitted into a base 2015 mustang?

No. The 2015 has a completely different system .. MyFord touch instead of the Clarion based NAV...

Well, I thought I would have time to do this, but I won't. Between working 50-60 hours a week and finishing school, I can't find time to do this. I purchased a large number of the components needed to do the nav swap, but no longer need them. If anyone is interested in purchasing them from me, please let me know via PM.

Does anyone know if heated seat buttons can be added to a control bezel that does not currently have them? I have heated seats and not willing to lose them but would like to buy Zack's unit if no one is willing to give him a fair price.

The buttons are part of the bezel. You would have to replace just the button panel, not the whole bezel.

Thanks Matt!

So far as you can tell know way to actually modify the button panel by adding two buttons where the blanks currently are? (have my current panel with the buttons... don't know how granularly it breaks down, but figured it must be possible. I don't mind cannibalizing my current button panel to modify Zacks if that's an option. Thoughts?

You won't be able to take your existing button and add them to the new bezel, but getting the proper buttons and bezel is no biggy. $100 at most for one from car-parts.com, I'd say.

The nav is a good deal. I'd take it.

I haven't posted here before, but I have been following the thread for a while (as the age of my account can attest) and finally decided to try it myself. I don't know if anyone else has done it on a 2013 though. Picked up an ACM from a heated seats/rear camera car (and an extra one from a 2010 w/ heated seats that I won't need, it just came as part of the bundle. I wanted the AppLink support.), screen, and center stack w/ heated seat controls so I'm a fair bit on the way. Still considering whether or not to do the full dual-zone conversion. I'm already using an aftermarket amp so that shouldn't be too much of an issue (and if it is, I have a metric ton of wires just sitting around to resolve the problem). We'll see how things go. Looking to get things done in mid-December or early January, assuming I get the rest of the parts in by then. I'll need to do it over a (long, maybe) weekend since this is my DD.

If you're talking a about the unit Zack had up for sale, that was me

Just need to start collecting those other bits and a button panel with heated seats and I'm off to the races.

I can barely wait to scare the **** out of myself removing the entire dash
