Spacers on 2010 rear wheels...?

Anyone using spacers on 2010 GT/GT500 rear wheels?
Any benefit/downside beside a wider more agressive look?

I used to have a 2005 mustang GT with Konig wheels and Falken tires, they were about 1/4" wider than the fender in the back, the look IMO was amazing.

I do not want to change the wheels on my upcoming 2011 Shelby SVT but would like to widen the rear a bit. I guess spacers is the only way, correct?

No you can have the wheels widened themselves, but that's way more $ than spacers.

since we kinda on the subject, i was wondering what backspacing I would need to fit 315/35/20 on the rear and 275/40/20 out front without it sticking past the wheel well with a 1.5 in lowering kit?

Thanks

I have the 2010 GT500 SVT wheels on my car and I am barely inside the wheel wells as it is. Not too sure waht spacers could do for you

This would only be advisable in Tijuana or on a Camaro in Hickville.

I'm running the Eibach Pro 1" spacers on all 4 corners. I'm doing this to clear the GT500 front brakes I recently installed. Once I can afford new wheels with the correct back spacing to clear the brakes, I will remove them. But until that time, I have no concerns on running them. It brings the stock 19" wheels just inside the fender lip. IMO it looks great. Really fills out the wheel wells. I'll dig up some pictures and post a couple!

Here are a few quick pics during and after the install of the wheel spacers.

Just checked out you ride pics and your wheel/tire combo looks really good. Did you drop the car 1" or 1 1/2 " ? Also with those 19" SVT wheels, what tire size are you running on all 4 corners. Those 2010 SVT wheels are really cool looking. What's the width of all for ones ? Thx

Can you post the actual part number? There are many options on the Eibach site and it's confusing to me which one is the best spacer to go with. Here's the link on their site.....
