Very, I'm so surprised no one has made this mod yet. Such an easy one too.

I agree, the reflector in that area is not a bad idea, unfortunately you still have to purchase the taillights thru OEM channels or used, which is I think the major "hangup" for a lot of people. Even if we made a retro kit for say 70-90.00, your total cost is still hundreds more... that, and the bumper still will have the angled "dip" visible, which does draw some attention to itself when inspected close-up ( 50 ft, nobody cares, at a show, people would care)

Not trying to be negative, just pointing out the reality of the actual cost of this as a whole...

Hang up or not, people will still buy it. Alot of people would rather go OEM then aftermarket anyway. And that angled dip won't be visible if the reflectors are say tinted to match the stock tails.

Edit: Or rather you can have the reflectors body colored. I'm pretty sure thats possible right?

Possible but more expensive as the company would have to invest in the correct materials for that process. Tinted black reflectors shouldnt be a problem but body color would as they woul need each color available for the 10-12 models

Could you take a close up pic of the "gap"? I am considering just going for it as well but my car is race red so I don't want the gap to be more noticeable

That's why I made my overlays. Give me the feel without the crazy price!

Still want the real thing! Haha
