I'm wondering what are the lightest wheels available for the 10-13 mustangs ( not including skinny fronts)? Also, How much do the stock wheels weigh?

Well that question is hard to answer accurately without knowing the rim size your
Interested in. I know there are several 18" wheels in the 20lb range. The stockers are around the 29-33lb mark and most non forged aftermarket 19's are in the mid to upper 20's.

TSW nurburgring's are pretty light and strong. Vorshlag sells a set of 18" below 20lbs. Enkie also has a couple light weight track wheels. You can go with Rays or BBS forged if you have deep pockets.

Nurburgrings are the best bang for the $ weightwise I've found. The TSW site lists weights. They've one other wheel that's rotary forged and in the same weight category.

Not mentioned above are some of the Forgestars. Load ratings may be something to consider as well. I think I've read the Nurb's are fairly low @ 1350#. Granted this is greater than 1/4 the weight of your car, but load to a wheel isn't static.

The Forgestar CF5 is rated @ 1560#. The 18x9 and 18x10's I just ordered are 21 and 22#.
If interested in running an 18x10 all the way around those Vorshlags are intrigueing but from reading their site, I wouldn't want to hit anything with them. I might consider them in the future for a set of dedicated track tires.

The 2 TSW's, some of the Einkie's, Forgestars and Vorshlag covers all the light weight wheels I found that I'd considered 'affordable'.

The Boss 302R and 302S wheels are very light and real good lookin' but are $650ish a pop. I believe one's 18x9.5, the other 18x10.

dafreeze is correct. The Nurburgrings and Interlagos from TSW are rotary forged and very light. 22lbs for a 19x9.5 wheel. My Stock GT500 wheels weighed in at 35lbs. 13lbs per wheel is a big difference. My GT500 with Interlagos.

For you guys with the TSW interlagos/Nurburgrings...did you have to modify the inside of the front wheel caps to get them to seat properly...I keep reading about fitment issues on the newer mustangs.

And are you getting better mpgs with the lighter rims? Thanks.

No mod on mine, thought they would have to take that front cap off but nope. I'm sure gas mileage is slightly better but swapped wheels at 700 miles so not something I noticed.

Enkei RPF1 is under 19 pounds for 18 x 10. IMO if light weight is your top priority you should stay with an 18 inch wheel.

Yes, I had to modify the cap. I have the 19x9.5 and when I "test" fitted the wheel I was only looking at brake clearance. I never even thought about looking at the center caps. Well, they don't fit... So, I removed some of the center section of the cap and lightly tapped the dust cap flat and all is well.

Mpgs... I don't keep track. Handling and acceleration seem better.

The Boss302R wheels are 20lbs apiece. They're made by BBS, and they're 18''.

My last set of wheels were $820 each. If CCW made a wheel I liked in the right size for this car, I'd get it.

Well, the Vorshlag 18x10 D-Force wheels are 19.2 lbs and $309. And they clear the Brembo brakes with plenty of clearance, are a square setup so they can be rotated and fit completely under the fenders with plenty of tire.

Weight:

Brake Clearance:

We spoke to CCW about making wheels like this and they replied that their Classic design flexes too much to make a wheel in these sizes.
