When I installed my Redline hood struts, I had to relocate the mounting position of the sound tube. In the process, I dropped and lost the clip that fits snug in the fender lip where the bolt screws in. Does anybody know where I can get a replacement or does anybody know where I can get the part number?

Sounds like the perfect excuse to get rid of the ugly thing. You can buy kits for sound tube deletes or peruse the hardware store for a cap and plug.

If I go to the hardware store, what exactly do I need to get?

Cool tech kit comes with two fender plugs, one with a hole, awesome for running wiring into the interior and one full blank. It also comes with the cap for the other end, at the intake tube and a quality stainless, no cut hose clamp.
