Which Diff cover??

Not sure which one to get, one has cooling fins but no drain plug. The other has a drain plug but no cooling fins. Both are cast alluminum.

2nd one. Just because it looks cooler. Not trying to knock you, but why are you getting one?

Two reasons, one is that I'll be tracking the car and want one that will dissipate heat better. The other is I have a few bucks to burn and running out of useful mods

I think I would like a drain plug more than a cooling fin.

Or wait till the 2013 GT500 diff cover hits and get the recirc pump and remote cooler (it looks to use the current GT500 diff cover but modified for an external pump and cooler.

The finned one has provisions for drilling and taping holes in it. Why not drill & tap holes for plugs?

Just wondering here.
