Air-to-Air Intercooler piping fitment issues
Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has had issues fitting the intercooler pipes/hoses for a Procharger in a '13 GT.
We are at about the 75% point in the installation of an i-1 in my car and it just seems like the pipes are going to rub on something at all times. Fan shroud, radiator hose, or something. It looks like the intercooler setup is the same or similar to a PSC-1 stage 2 setup.
Any advice? My mechanic, who is a perfectionist, thinks that a kit that costs this much should not have these kinds of issues.

We finally got it. Talked to Procharger and we trimmed some of the rubber hoses slightly and fitment was better. Also trimmed a piece of metal from a brace that stuck out oast a crossmember 1/4 inch.

I had similar issues cramming the Vortech IC in, particularly on the pass side. Massive core thickness, huge tubes and a fairly crowded space over there made for multiple bumper refits. That and the "minor" trimming of the fascia was pretty major actually, way beyond what the instructions said. I feel your pain and, mine's together now, too.

The kit's fit could be improved with slightly smaller tubing. The intercooler inlet and outlet is smaller than any of the tubes. All that's left is putting the bumper on, routing the PCV system, installing the i-1's computer and wiring harness. Then load the provided tune to get it running again.
