New Stripes
Had some stripes put on the car last Monday. The weather has been crappy so today was the first chance I had to clean up the car and take some pictures. I wanted something different then the usual Black, Silver or white stripes on Sterling Grey. What do you guys think?

Very nice. It's usually hard to pick a non-traditional color combo and not look tacky.
These are cool because in my opinion they're just this side of tacky... So attention getting but not outrageous. I like it.
The color looks like it's darker than grabber blue but lighter than most traditional blue stripes, is that right?

I got the idea for the Colour combo from the 2013 Shelby. It was a combo available from Ford. The Ford Stripes are supposed to be Deep Impact Blue.
When I picked out the material from the samples it looked a bit darker than what it does now. Hard to match things likes this by eye. I like how it turned out though.
Now I am wondering if I should have done a side stripe as well

No, no side stripes with Le Mans stripes, too busy.
So those are Ford deep impact blue? I wonder how they'd look on my DIB GT.
Or maybe I need to find some sterling grey stripes.

Looking good! These were exactly what I had in mind a year ago, and those Shelby photos you referenced to? Ahhhh, brings back memories.
Ended up with - I swore to put on something other than - Matt Blacks hehehe. I'd still do the side stripes. They look more of 'complete striping' to me rather than thinking too busy, I like mines. More so with eye-popping Blue, the sides of your car look something's missing IMO.
I'm gonna go change mine Blue now.

Looks great, I love it. Just curious - what'd it run you to get the stripes done, and where did you get it done? My silver stripes are faded\cracking, going to remove them before this winter and replace them in the spring with black stripes. I've had one quote locally for about $800. Still shopping around though.

Wow, those are some great pictures, thanks a lot for sharing! Very unusual color, the stripes look killer with those wheels!

Thanks for all the Compliments. I actually traded the car in last week on 2015 GT Coupe in Deep Impact Blue with Silver Stripes
