Heavy equipment scares the crap out of me. A family friend of ours (an old friend of my dad) owned several successful auto related businesses, everyone knew him. He was clearing some land and his 3 year old grandson was staying with them. He slipped out of the house without his grandma knowing and went down to see what his papaw was doing.

He was running a big dozer (like a D8 Cat) and never saw the boy. Backed over him with the tracks.

He was never right in the head again, messed him up so bad that he sold every business and everything he owned and started a foundation/scholarship fund for kids in the boy's name. Basically went into hiding for years, nobody even saw him out in public, my dad couldn't even get a hold of him for about 5 years.

let me get my disclaimer out of the way first .. i have no problem with people of the Pentecostal faith .. some of my mothers family are such people ( Hyatts ) .. they dont drink ,cuss or smoke any less or more than us Baptists ,,, anywho i know some other people ( Holmans ) who are aslo predominantly Holiness .. iv`e been seeing a young girl at my fav grocery for several years and determined that she was of the Holiness faith by her wearing full length dresses and her hair always being in a bee hive .. somewhat friendly but yet a bit defensive ..this morning as she is ringing up my favorite beverage i ask her " are you a Hyatt or a Holman ? she replies " i`m neither " . " i`m a Herford " but she said she knows the Hyatts and the Holmans ... HMMN ... Hyatt , Holman, Herford ,Holiness,, a lot of H`s there . perhaps a prerequisite ( big word ) of religion is that you follow a faith that includes the first letter of you name ... Moon .... i should have been a Methodist ... yeah i know .. pretty lame ,, i`m bored out of my mind ..

Working an assembly line here Hoss. Never thought I'd be doing that in my later years.

the stang is retired for winter but the pinto will still make a cruise lap now and then .. just went on a small round trip and on the way some kids standing out in a yard came running out to the road jumping up and down waving a sign .. i slowed way down to see the sign and it said " PECANS" .. but i knew i only had three bucks in my pocket so i did not stop . Later in the lap i got to feeling a bit bad about not stopping so i decided on my way back home i would stop and if i could not buy any pecans i would just give them the three bucks i had anyway ...so i stop and as i roll down my window a pit bull puppy comes running up to my car .. i hear a woman holler " Willie "" STOP " ... i says OK !! ... turns out it was the name of her pit bull dog .. i tell her it was also my name .. HA !! anyway turns out the pecans are 3 bucks a pound .. everyone is happy as i drive away .. now i`m broke but my birds will eat good next week ..
