Track Cal question

I have a 2014 mustang gt and am thinking about getting the track cal program for the car. My question is, I also want to go long tube headers into a catless h-pipe, is this possible?

Thanks

When you say track cal, do you mean track key?

If so then probably not, as track key is for mostly stock setup. You'll need a specific tune for catless operation.

well my mustang is and early produced '14 so the track key won't work for me but the track cal will (only difference is the track key is a physical key, cal is just a tune) but I wanted to eventually run headers but I've heard that the FR tunes won't allow for headers

You will not be able to make those kind of modifications with the Track Cal tune. Having said that if you are comfortable with the power level of the car where it is at... The Track Cal is Amazing! The Lopey idle is so Awesome! If catless and long tubes is your goal then save up. There are a few tuners who offer Ghost Cam tunes. Then you could have the mods you are looking for and the Lopey idle.

I second Glassback on that one. Love my Trackey Tune. But if you are dead set on long tube headers or other engine bay mods you will have to look else where. Sound like you need to find a good custom tune to meet the mods you put on.

Pretty much what the 3 grey Mustang owners said hahaha

Although Ford Performance doesn't offer Track Key for the Boss or GT's any longer just as an FYI.

Your only option might be the Kooks green cats. Supposedly they're efficient enough that you can run them without needing a tune to turn off the rear O2s:
