I thought I'd clean up what looks to me like a mildly stretched and vague use of a real 2010 pic.
Left is just unstretched and right is smoothed.
Topnotch is such a sneaky tease...

Wow. I love that quarter window and sexy hip!

The proportions (width to length) look wrong for some reason. When I first saw the avatar I wondered, because it looks slightly different than the standard stang...even stretched. (cool)

Mr Topnotch is a superb Photoshopper. Pity he doesn't work for Ford's design team. Alas, I believe it's a 'chop of this photo. But, it does go to prove that with a little work, Giugiaro's concept could be turned into an awesome production car.

I like it too. I was wondering about that when I joined not too long ago. By the way, did anyone read today about the new website for the release? Its on Autoblog. Oops, just saw the thread above!

Fooled me. Thought I was onto something. Oh well. I'm sorry I caused a ruckus, and I'm sure T's original was quite stunning. I'll keep digging and stop purporting to have a scoop when I don't.
The avatar is still clever and I'm sure T is sneaky.

No need to apologize, it looks very good cleaned up. And I think its good to remind everyone just how good hips look on the Mustang!

My apologies, but I happen to be in the minority who doesn't like the Guigario concept at all. IMHO the Guigario with it's overall stubby profile, and taller rear end. Seems to look more like a Hot Wheels/cartoon caricature of a disfigured 67-68 fastback. I also don't like the hip line being raised above the doorline, as this just exaggerates the high waisted beltline even further.
At any rate: I hope that I haven't offended anyone, for that wasn't my intention.

I'm with you all the way, for I don't think they'll be as pronounced either. In fact when looking at the 2010 spy photo's, it almost looks as though the hip line, is actually below the doorline. Thus visually making the rear beltline appear to look somewhat lower.
