After all the B.S you had to go through with AM and Raxiom.. I would most definitely make sure that you don't lose Rosen's number lol.

I also just sent you an add/friend request too

I remember buying this unit for my '14. I had to replace it twice because it kept overheating and going blank. I mainly bought it for the navigation. After the 3rd time I just returned it. I was fed up.

I just hope this update is what the unit needed and it doesn't mess up anymore...it hasn't been hot surprisingly the last few days so won't know if it helped till it happens again.

What happened to your 14 if you don't mind me asking? It said rip

Actually the Raxiom head unit I bought was for my '13.. I traded that car in to get my '14. As far as the RIP on the '14 I was being stupid and spun out into a ditch... kinda embarrassing actually. I started a thread on it about a year ago. Still regret it....still miss it... but it was my own fault. I'm happy with the '16 though.

I love my 2014. Love the body style everything. Only think I would upgrade is the suspension bc those tires like to fishtail lol...I have to be careful with that

Ya.. if anything learn from my dumb mistake haha. I hope that update fixes the Raxiom unit though. I did like it when it worked. I liked the navigation it had.

Lol yea I will!! So far it's been more responsive, so thats a plus so far. I know when I was going to las vegas and cali, it would say it would be such and such hours but on my phone it would be about 2 or 3 hours less. Not sure what that was about..

I also have the Raxion Navigation unit in my 13 GT and for my 11V6. I mainly bought it for the GPS, since it was on sale plus going the other route was going to be too expensive. I did have issues with the popping noise every time i used the navigation. But that was my fault, I had a cable connected wrong (for some reason the 13-14 had a different speaker wire than the 11-12 cars) but I corrected that.
traveling from Cali to VA the unit went blank once when we hit Arizona, and it was probably due to the temperature. When I got settled in my new house I updated the software in the navigation system and everything is working fine now. I personally love my Raxion unit. My only complain is that it does take a couple of seconds to boot up.
As per American Muscle customer service. They treated me well and always answered all my questions, even when their answer would keep me from buying their product.
For what the unit costs on sale, i say it is a decent bang for your dollar.
R,
Jose.

R,
Jose.
Yea I did the update too and everything seemed ok but now it seems to take even longer to boot up. It definitely is the cheaper way to have gps in the car vs having a Garmin per say. As long as I can play my music I'm good. The screen hasn't gone black since that first time and it has been hot, so hopefully the update did work.
