My 3rd place finish at IMM 35
Well 3 of us finished in 1,2,3 at the IMM35 (International Mustang Meet #35) show this weekend in Richmond BC.
My friends Heather and her husband took 1 & 2 in their respective classes (GHIG GT vert, and Grabber Blue Shelby) while i took 3rd in my class, GT vert modified.
I had a pic of the awards ceremony too but they didn't save in my phone
the rest of the album his here
So for the year i took 1st in the Pitt Meadows Wings and Wheels Airshow, a door prize at the Hallmark Mustang Show and 3rd at the International Mustang Meet #35 here in Richmond. I am pretty proud of my little blue horsey.
The show weather was great except for a sprinkle, but no harm done. Good excuse to wipe down the interior. The show was VERY well organized and went off without a hitch. Finally a seriously amazing contingent of modern shelby's were on display, including my favourite red/black one, which took 1st in the modern modified gt500 class In all I think about 425 cars showed up from north america. They did give a few awards to people for distance travelled, and someone from the UK got one, as did an Aussie.
I believe my friend George got 1st in his class with his 67 Red Mustang. he's the mechanic who did my suspension and maintains my car.

Thanks bro, but i think chrome still rules the day. Most of the older contingent didn't really dig all the CF on mine. The chrome in the engine bay of the 1st place winner was a hit though. I've done nothing under the hood of mine. Some caps and braided hoses are on the way though.

Congrats and nice car, liked the GT500 exhaust. We voted for your car. Show was a success and the wife and I enjoyed the cruise. I'm glad you liked my car.
We will be at the next one in Missoula Montana.
