If HE called the shots, "they" would still own a Shelby.

Funny. I call it our car, she calls it my car because she will most likely never drive it.

I chose to trade the Shelby for this one for a number of reasons. I will miss the vert but not that gut-wrenching speed. If I do decide that more speed is needed, I can always add the Hellion twin turbo kit or the TVS 2.3 screws.

Yes, you can always add to the 5.0, but the 5.4/5.8 engines are completely different animals.
I get to drive my girlfriend's 5.4 Shelby fairly often, and especially now with the '13 TVS on it, it's a freakin animal, effortless power and torque.
My blown 5.0 still feels like it needs to be worked to deliver.
Not the Shelby.

More likely, the difference in torque instead of having to wind it to 8K rpm.

Nice! Whipple or Roush supercharger?
Whipple is killing it with the S550 cars. Can't go wrong either way though.

Not decided yet. Waiting to see more performance numbers over time for both.

Getting Clear Bra installed? Pretty sure that little strip of buildings is where I had mine installed!

I agree with Darren. Sometimes we forget how good our Mustangs look unmolested.

I dig the way the sun is hitting the SGM and giving it a bronze-like hue.

But mine is pretty much stock!! hahaha

Anyway, those are some great shots, the paint looks awesome with the sun at that angle. I really think the stock look of the Brembo package GT's is great. That's why I've only lowered mine a few inches and added tint. I haven't seen any other visual mod that I've fallen in love with yet, except maybe the GT500 spoiler.

Thanks, I still love it despite having the rims ripped off it last year.

No, sadly I was visiting Don Kavanaugh at DentKraft to have a golf ball dent PDR'd out of my hood - car got hit by a golf ball in my own **** driveway (our house backs up to a park), got in to go get some food and sit behind the wheel and found myself staring at a dent right in front of my face on the back edge of the driver's side hood, get out like WTFFF and sure enough 10 feet away in the grass is a golf ball.

Thanks - it's funny you say, that's literally all I would like to do to the car - lower it 1-2" to level out the stance and kill some of that gap, and tint 35%. Those two things to make it look a little better, along with the Shelby axlebacks I have on there to make it sound a little better is all it would take for me to be 1000% happy with the car. But we bought a house in May and are remodeling to boot so no $$$$ for mods.
