Installed my Steeda Springs today

Installed my Steeda springs today. These springs are made for the V6 and not a one size fits all. Over 80 degrees of warm weather and everything went smooth. Took it for a test drive to check for strange sounds, nice and quiet. I turned the arrows on my GT500 strut mounts pointing toward the engine. My Mustang tracks nice and straight. How do you like the ride and the stiffness of the springs?

Thank you for your feedback & review of the Steeda springs ... your support is truly appreciated!

5 Montster ... you will be very happy with the ride quality ... but I will let David provide his feedback.

Best Regards,

TJ

wow, you have a Watts link? How much did it improve the handling? Have you ever ran your car on the drag strip?

David--Which Steedas did you go with? Did you get before/after measurements?

I bought these made for the v6 http://www.steeda.com/steeda-sport-v...ings-555-8207/. I didn't measure before and after, front is 1 inch and the rear was 1 1/4 drop.

They feel almost like the factory springs, as far as stiffness goes, but lower

Looks good - you're using OEM struts I assume? Hope you enjoy the ride. Get that car out to a track and take advantage of the handling!!!

Nope, i have the orange Koni's. Might be raining soon . I have several nice curvy roads near me. I'm going to see how the handling has improved in the next day or two

Just came back from a drive. Not going to rain until tomorrow. The ride is more firm but not harsh. No bouncing over bad roads at all. I'm very happy with these springs

Aren't they great! Installed mine last spring along with other STEEDA suspension parts and I love the ride. Great mod indeed!

Here is a picture of the factory and Steeda front spring. Did anyone else notice 'better traction' from a dead stop after lowering? I 'think' i have better traction from a dead stop.

Thanks. I'm happy to know the extra traction was 'real' and not in my head
