Ideas for mods to my car, your thoughts. Warning v6

Ok I know I'm throwing this out there and will probably get flamed for trying to mod a 4.0, but with that said here is what I'm thinking. These are pure exterior not performance mods.

The few real things I hate about the exterior is the side skirts and rear valance. I know they can be painted to match the body, but then all you get is the same stock exterior with painted parts.
When I think of cars (porsche 911, AC cobra, Datsun 280zx, '68 428cj) there are a few small things that I all ways thought were neat and made the car. Ei sequential taillights on a '68.

One of the reasons you buy a mustang is to modify it to your liking.
Here is what I would like to do to my car-

Shaker hood scoop- I have owned too many mustangs with non-functional hood scoops. Thought these look neat and I can get one off of craigslist for about $400 new.

Cervinis Side Exhaust with Skirts & Rear Valance. I hate seeing the single exhaust coming out the back of a car. Have a buddy paint the parts and get rid of the single exhaust. Side Exhaust with Skirts & Rear Valance for around $1200, $100 bucks for paint and labor to install exhaust.

Chrome Saleen Wheel & NITTO Tire Kit - 18x9 Just enough bling, but not too much for a mustang. I would also upgrade to the larger front GT rotors and pads.

Again this is pure esthetics and not performance. The car is a daily driver and I will be purchasing a new 5.0 GT coupe in 2013 (keeping the V6 for daily driver). Here's a picture for reference and yes I have all ready removed the gay looking "mustang" stripe from down the side.
Appreciate your thoughts-CJ

If you are getting a Gt in 2013, save the money and spend it on the GT.

What's wrong with making your daily driver nicer? & why can't he have both? I sure love the Shaker on my 5.0!!

I only buy 'show' & not 'go' parts. I'll trying to save up for new rims right now.

JimmyM, wasn't meaning that. He prob loves his V6 as much as I live my V8. Why shouldn't he add whatever he wants to it? That's what I meant.

I'd do some springs, Saleen wheels, and a light bar. That would look sick! Then save the rest for the 13.

Thanks guys for your input. I will not be doing the Cervini exhaust- long short story, but I prefer not to deal with them at this time.
I understand what everyone is saying about saving for the GT, believe me from my own experience I know what your talking about.
For now I'm going to order a new Roush rear valance since I cannot find a stock GT valance for what I'm looking to pay for it. The Pypes dual exhaust will be installed in October. In the spring I'm going to order the chrome saleen wheels from American Muscle along with the black 'vert style bar.
I will keep on checking ebay for the 4.0 shaker.
My driver's side mirror is scratched so I'm thinking about the chrome mirror covers- thinking that is.
Here's a preview and yes I'm not sold on the stripes, but have my reasons. (no I will not be doing the rocker stripe)

For the exhaust, you could do what I did, Left GT Over the axle pipe, Pypes Xpipe and 2010 GT take off mufflers. I see GT rear Valances all the time for $50.
BTW I like the Grabber Blue Stripes.

Also, what is wrong with modding you V6 Daily Driver

GT or GT500/CS rear, plus new exhaust, and some other minor bits, and you'll be all set. You might want to look at a GT front fascia if you want some more options. Good thing is, you'll be able to take them back off and sell them and recoup some of your money for the '13 if you plan on doing so. Keep your stock parts and sell back what you can, and enjoy it while you have it.
