Good news for short people.....

I'm obsessive compulsive about that clutch pedal extender. The plastic one felt cheap.

There is a new billet aluminum one from SR Performance so I jumped on it. Got it in 2 days. I've been hoping something like this would come out so lo and behold. Great fit and feels very good and solid underfoot.

It is not that easy to install. It is better to install the pedal first to the extender. I suggest notching the corners with a razor knife and working it in with a paint can opener. Otherwise use a scratch awl to wedge the thing in. I got some scratch marks doing it, but what the hey. The clamshell method is not easy either, spreading it apart and slipping it over the pedal. The pedal cover is not going anywhere and will not fall off. However, if you lube up the corners the extender should slip in with minimal effort. Then screw it in.

I picked it up from American Muscle. Got it in 2 days First Class Mail.

I'll say it right now that at a towering 5'8 I'm by no means the tallest person in the building and I hate the fact that I sit so close to the wheel (I like to be comfortable and for how much I've been on the track in the past I like to be in full control) Think close*

But when I have a friend pull up to my at a stop light as it turns out, I actually look like this below:

It's definitely a great piece and It's definitely something that should be an accessory from Ford.

I can't but notice that we don't have an image on the product page either OP...But we do have a review.

Post up a Picture for a code!

Thanks for the write up/Feedback and for your support and business as always!

Pics as requested.

Here they are. Rave review on this. Heavier and more substantial down to the hex bolts. Feels like its part of the car rather than an add-on.

Especially with these ticking time bomb Takata airbags, sitting father away is better. Might have to look into this. I never realized how close I sit, and I'm 5'9"-5'10".
