Crap... I had to run to the garage and check my display board. I uploaded the wrong file. Take a close look at the actual board next to my car (page 1) at the show and you will see I corrected that oops moment before it was printed.

PHEW! I'm sure lookers and apssersby wouldn't have let it go unnoticed at the shows either

Everyone's a critic!

I think it's very nicely done. Hoping for something similar when i'm done.

OfficeDepot does the printing and mounting (?) for $27 (if you do it online) for a 24x36 poster. It's supposed to be done the same day.

I'm having a problem getting a 300dpi image together. Pain Shop Pro 8 falls over REAL easy (and always before I'm even close to being done).

You can probably imagine the issues I'm facing trying to do a 24x36 layout - at 300dpi.

yes i can imagine. Unfortunately you have to take all of the pics at very large or raw size, and then the ram/graphics memory in the puter becomes the problem.

I have the same problem with photoshop with only 4gb of ram

Use Microsoft Publisher and create your page size 24x36. Insert a high resolution background image and start adding text. Only use PS to edit and outline/cut your car pictures. You end result will be a poster that will have the proper resolution when you print the file. DO NOT save it as a Jpeg. Save as a Pub or PDF file and email the file to your local Office Depot for production.

This is how I created my poster and I had no problems with printing and losing resolution.

See.... I just took my old Publisher File and added some of your info and voila! Using Photoshop is good for editing the pic to isolate the car and then you just insert that image on the poster and your done.

Now the real pchop pros (which i am not of course) would remove the reflection of the grass and meadow in the passenger door and blend it to reflect the water flame ripple.
