Decisions decisions...

Hey guys,

New member here. Currently own a 2000 V6 and it's time to upgrade.

There is a 2013 v6, race red premium package, it has the Recaro seats and a tower brace so I'm assuming it has the performance package? 23k miles. Unknown if they will allow a trade in.

Also looking at a 2014 sgm premium, used to be a rental, has 27k miles. This one is going for $1k less. This Dealer has also offered 2k for my trade in.

Seems pretty clear to me, right? Just wondering if anyone would go with the second one over the first.

Thanks guys.

Decisions decisions...

What equipment does the GT have? And the GT is listed for less money?

An '00 V6 Auto was my first Mustang. '03 GT with a T56 was my second. It was a big jump in power from the '03 to my '14 GT. Do you think you're ready to go straight to the GT? Personally, I felt the '03 GT was a good car to learn on, since it was stick, the traction control was turned off in the tune and it had more than enough power to get me in trouble.

To be honest, the '14 has more power than I know what to do with where I live. But I couldn't give up that sound...

I'd certainly go with option 1. The Recaros alone are worth it, and you'll like the acceleration and handling of the performance package.

Yeah, I'd only been looking into premium package v6s.

After researching it, it seems to be premium, performance and comfort mustang club of america. Much much more than I had been looking at and still well in my doable price range.

It's being sold at a Kia dealership, I don't think they know what they've got. I asked about it and their reply was "yeah, I think it is upgraded, don't really know anything about mustangs, I can talk your head off about kias though, hahah"

Thanks for the help. I'll post pictures come Saturday!
