In Texas the weather is probably good enough for a Vert most of the time. Just remember that it won't be quite as taut on the twisties as a Coupe would be due to the missing roof, it's more of a cruiser. Of course you're 16 so if you're smart you'll stick to cruising. As for things you can do to it, the sky's the limit. Members here have done engine swaps, sheet metal swaps, integrated an iPad into their dash, stripped their car down and built it back up as a racer, etc etc. The key is to be smart, don't overspend or get in over your head.

Depends on what you're after, and what your budget is. I'd love to have a convertible sometimes. But when it comes down to it...I really wanted a coupe. If you're on a limited budget, then just choose your mods wisely. But there's so many options for modding...it's kinda rediculous. As far as some cool things you can do with it...get in and drive!...and maybe pick up some chicks while you're at it.

Congrats on the stang as your 1st car! I'd go with some appearance mods to start with. Stripes or wheels are always a good place to start. Since its a 2010, I'd add sequential tail lights if it don't come with them already.

Congrats on the ride! First things i did to mine were exhaust, CAI, rims/tires, and a bangin sound system. Put this in my 02 gt all in about 7 months. Sky is the limit and just build it up to make you happy. Im 17 so i have an idea if what you might like in the car haha

First thing I'm found is installing CAI, then black out the headlights and taillights, h pipe, then Borla or Loudmouth exhaust system...probably then rims and tires.
Possibly tinted windows also, and stripes.
