Car Seat Part Identification-2014

Does anybody know where this part goes?

I was applying some leather conditioner to the driver's seat and when I was near the side where the controls are I guess I got the cloth a little too deep and that popped out.

Thanks!

This all because hibernation is soon upon us and I feel the need for every speck of dust and dirt to be eradicated before sleepy time.

That is the recliner handle retainer clip, I think... Sounds like you popped it out.

Thanks guys. From where it popped it seems like the best guess is the recliner handle. I'm on a search out the parts so I can hopefully pop it back on without removing any parts.

If you pull straight out on that handle now it should slide right off the metal shaft without that clip. Then you can put the clip back in the little slot on the handle and pop the handle back on until it "click" into the groove. I notice every once in a while I have to push in on the handle and "re-snap" it back into place. I'm wondering if it has to do with a big fat guy sitting in the seat and the downward pushing force of the bottom seat cushion that pops that clip out of the groove on the post it slides onto.
