Boss without the stripes

I know you can't get a Boss anymore, but I'm kind of curious... Could you special order a Boss 302 without the stripes? Or would you have to remove them yourself after taking delivery of the car? I think the stripes are a bit much on the car and it would be cool to have the Boss performance/handling without the contrasting stripes. Don't get mad at me, just curious!!

Could you opt for the Brembo wheels on a Boss too?

The Boss stripes are awesome. I would not have ordered one without them just like the GT500.

A Shelby is still identifiable as a Shelby even without stripes. The only immediately identifiable exterior cues are the stripes. The Boss needs the stripes.

Yeah I know you can't get a Boss anymore, but would one have been able to order it without the stripes? Can't you order the V6 with the stripe delete? Would Ford let you on a Boss?

Stripe delete was not an option from the factory. A couple of people have removed the stripes themselves, though. There were no optional wheels either. The only options available on the Boss were Recaros/TORSEN and cover/floor mats. And the LS package of course.

There were no options of a stripe delete.....
.... I have gone back and forth on removing mine...

I like them because of the nostalgia but don't like them because of how... "loud" they are when the car is loud and "loud" enough on it's own.

Honestly, I think the car would look gorgeous with silver 5 spoke, split wheels, no stripes, Boss 429 style logo on the side and merge the '13 GT hood vents with the '12 bulge....
In fact, that may be the future of mine...
