Anyone install the Nav Map update yet?
Got my update a few weeks ago, unfortunately I totally my car before I got the update and never got to try it out. HERE is refunding my money and sending me the update for my new 2014 GT instead.
I saw that it comes with a program update CD and then a separate Map update CD. Anyone try out the new software yet and found any improvements? I know on my Focus when they sent out the Map update is was a huge difference (worked MUCH better for address entry and better map details).

On my 2012, went on vacation this summer and ran into several errors. Places where the roads were re-routed and in one place an entire freeway exit has been eliminated. That's when I decided to order the update.

Installed the update to Map V7.
Comes with 2 DVDs for a software update (only uses the 1st DVD on my car).
Then 2 DVDs for the Map update & Gracenote database update.
The Software update took about 30min and the Map update took 1hr.
You do not have to run the Gracenote database update from the 2nd DVD (as shown in the instructions) as it seemed to have updated automatically when the Map data was added. You can see the versions on the system information tab.
Instructions say to start the car and let it run during the update, but that's a really long time to have a car idling in the driveway (and have to babysit it). I should have just hooked up the battery charger and left the engine off.
After the update I noticed..... nothing. Looks and operates just like before. I didn't really see any differences yet, although it's only been 1 day and I didn't have any map errors locally that I could check out (to see if fixed).
Is it worth the price? Probably depends on if you are running into map errors (changed roads/business). I originally ordered it for my 2012 Mustang (maps are 2 yrs old and several errors found on my vacation road trip). But that car got totaled and so I contacted HERE and got the map order changed over to the new car. I probably will update every 2 yrs in the future (at most).
I'll update this thread later, if I notice any new features in the new mapping software.
