2013 Race Red paint defects?

Hello everyone - I apologize if this has already been discussed already, though I did do a quick search and did not come across anything.
My 2013 Race Red Mustang has several paint chips all around the car. The front bumper is the absolute worse, to the point where it needs a total repaint. I figure that would be blamed on road debris. However, on the sides of the car there are panels with 1 - 2 chips on each as well. I know that I most likely wouldn't stand a prayer with Ford doing anything but was just wondering if anyone else has had issues with their Race Red?
Sorry for rambling!

The race red on my '11 has held up fine. It does have some chips but no more than you would expect from 50,000 miles of driving and in most spots still looks much like brand new

They could all been from rocks or debris thrown up by another vehicle. While on I-40 a semi threw two rocks at my car. One hit the windshield, the other hit the right rear quarter panel. Rocks can hit in strange places sometimes. Just a thought.

I got a massive chip I noticed this weekend. Not sure where it came from or if its from a rock or what.. But it gouged the plastic of the front bumper. Was pretty upset. 2013 Race Red, not even 7k mi on it yet

Yeah, I have pretty much reconciled that Ford will tell me too bad. But I still might take a chance. I have 32K on mine but the chips everywhere are a lot more than I ever experienced on my 2006 Torch Red which I drove for almost 90K before trading. There are also a couple of 'bubble' spots as well, so who knows.
Thanks everyone!

Never hurts to ask brother. Especially about the bubbles in the paint. However at 32K miles they may buck a bit.

Talking

I have 250 miles on my '13 and the paint looks as new as the day I bought it.

My black paint actually came with some paint defects ( not chips) I assume they where dust particles I guess that sat on the hood of the car when painting and resulted in small "bumps" on the hood and they are on my trunk too. Oh well

There's a few in my paint too. Specks of something under the base coat, which then got cleared over.

I've got more chips than I care to see in my Race Red. Weird spots like on the hood and not in a real direct line where you would expect chips. A little disappointing. And pretty darn big.

I had a chip about two weeks in on my 14 that looked like that, ended up using that spray bra for the time being - it doesn't look 'excellent', but it gets the job done and you can't see it from 10 feet away.

So, went by one dealership body shop yesterday and everything I showed the guy would be considered road wear by Ford. Very disappointing but really not surprised.
At this point I'll just wait it out until spring and consider an entire paint job. Maybe I've just had worse luck with trucks on this one but my paint on this car at 32K is extremely worse compared to the 06 I traded in with 89K. Oh well.
At any rate, thanks for the feedback everyone!

I've got 8,300k miles on my black 14 and I've noticed what I would only think are blemishes in the paint. I wipe the car off every weekend with a damp cloth followed by a dry cloth so I know the paint hasn't been abused, yet still there are some "spotting" areas and few funny discoloration spots as well. Anyone else had this happen?

Trying not the thread hijack, but here's what's up with mine. There is zero dust in these pictures. It's all just little weird spots in the paint

You should speak with your service manager and see if there’s any type of discount or assistance with the repairs needed, bradzpony.

Have you addressed this with your dealer, Petrie141? If not, I recommend you bring it in as soon as possible and get it checked out. Also, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can escalate it to the customer service manager for your area if needed.
