2010 GT Front End Clunk/Control Arms/Tie Rod Ends

Now that my ticking/tapping engine is no more focus returns to the elusive front end clunk that has mystified me for years. I have replaced struts (koni orange), springs (FRPP P's), strut mounts (GT500), sway bar end links (stallion adjustable), and sway bar bushings (poly).

Next to be replaced are the control arms and/or tie rod ends. I've heard for a lowered (mine is 1.5") 2010 GT, the 2009 GT500 control arms are a good fit. Anyone have an opinion on this? There are many options on RockAuto and I was considering the Mevotech CMK "supremes." Tie rod ends I assume are not very different as far as geometry, high performance, etc.

Thoughts? As usual, TIA

NAPA vs Ford Racing

My company has offered to buy the control arms from NAPA. NCP 2605565(6)
Perfect Circle brand?

Am I wrong for wanting the Ford Racing Parts over the NAPA parts? I'm sure the NAPA part is better than OEM, but is it as much of an upgrade as the Ford Racing part (the 2009 GT500 control arm vs a stock 2010 GT arm)

Thoughts? Am I over thinking this?
